Founder & Managing Director - Zani

Zani lives and breathes tennis. Ever since she picked up her first racket at the age of 4, she was hooked. She had an extensive junior tennis career - including top rankings in the state of Georgia, the South and in the nation. Zani went on to play for Division 1 Syracuse University on a full tennis scholarship and later transferred to the University of Georgia. After working in the corporate fashion world for 10 years, Zani switched her heels to tennis sneakers and started teaching kids and adults in her NYC neighborhood. Word quickly spread of Coach Z’s exciting and energetic lessons and demand for an organized tennis program for kids grew! Zani then started Super Duper Tennis in 2014 to provide an opportunity for kids to experience the FUN of learning tennis. Zani is a certified coach for kids and adults, cardio tennis instructor and a mother to a super duper daughter.

NJ - Regional PROGRAM DIRECTOR & HEAD COACH - Leo

Coach Leo is a USPTA Certified Professional Coach. Growing up on the Jersey Shore, he was an avid athlete, playing every sport - he picked up a racquet for the first time when he was thirteen and took to the sport quickly – he had found his passion, and hasn’t stopped playing since. As a 4-year varsity member and 3-year captain of his team, he played three years at first singles and helped bring home a division title in 2000. 

In 2014, Leo left his office job, picked up his tennis gear and hit the courts – quickly establishing a loyal clientele in the North Jersey Metro Area as an independent coach. In early 2015 he started up Super Duper Tennis in NJ, and has grown it consistently year after year, with the goal of bringing quality and caring athletic training to his students. Leo now oversees Super Duper Tennis NJ which trains hundreds of kids per season in group classes, after-school programs and summer camps – and has an amazing team of dedicated coaches.

NY - REGIONAL MANAGER & HEAD COACH - STEVEn

Coach Steven is a USTA 10 and Under Certified Coach. Born and raised in the Bronx, Coach Steven started playing tennis at the age of 6. Basketball was his first sport but he decided to stick with tennis.

He is finished his bachelor's degree in business management and enjoyed a stellar playing career at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. As a member and captain of the tennis team he won Rookie of the Year, First team all conference all four years and a two-time Player of the Year.

He has been teaching tennis for five years and loves the thought of putting a racquet in a child's hand to give them the same opportunity tennis has provided him in his life.
